“He was chosen by God before the creation of the world and was revealed in these last days for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from death and gave him glory, and so your faith and hope are fixed on God.” – 1 Peter 1: 20-21 GNT
“This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God -who does not lie – promised them before the world began.” – Titus 1:2 NLT
“Everyone living on earth will worship it, everyone whose name is not written in the Book of Life. That book belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered before the creation of the world.” – Revelation 13:8 WORD Translation
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,” – 2 Timothy 1:9 NIV
This Easter, I want you to see the Resurrection in a different light – in a way you never thought about it before, and more importantly, I hope you embrace this spiritual truth within the current situations you face.
Easter didn’t originate in the first century. It was a plan that was put in place BEFORE the creation of the world – BEFORE the beginning of time 😊
Think about that…. before God uttered the phrase, “Let there be light”, Easter was already planned. The result of the Resurrection, giving mankind the “confidence that they have eternal life”, was promised by God before the world began!
The very foundation of our faith, based on the death and resurrection of our Savior, was established before any human was created, before any church or doctrine existed, and before Mary Magdalene entered that empty tomb long ago.
Think about how this speaks so loudly to the loving omniscience of our God – a providential God who is graciously and mercifully supplying for ALL OUR NEEDS – even BEFORE the needs occur.
When Mary entered that empty tomb, she was greeted by two men “in clothes that gleamed like lightning.” They asked her a question that rings loudly to this day: “Why do you look for the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:5 NIV)
What are you facing this Easter season?
What in your life has departed, expired, or has ceased to exist? What seems dead or beyond resurrecting? Are you finding it hard to keep going, to remain hopeful, or to trust in the goodness of God again?
My friend, whatever you face, realize that God has known about it BEFORE time began – BEFORE you were even created. He has established a good plan for you long BEFORE your difficulties surfaced – one filled with resurrection and restoration power!
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart.” – Jeremiah 1:5 NIV
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord – plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
As you embrace these eternal truths, then why are you looking for what is living among the dead? Why continue to grieve the loss? Why ruminate in the problems or issues? Why stay focused on the trauma, the anguish, or the injury?
BELIEVE in God’s prosperous plan for you filled with hope and a future! Believe in the restoration, the renewal, and the resurrection of all that is good and positive within your life! Trust God that he has planned this resurrection in your life long ago – before he formed you in the womb 😊
I pray that you SEE the glory of God this Easter in a new way. Praise Him for his Almighty Omniscience and for the Omnipotence He displays in the power of the Resurrection – a plan that was formed before the foundation of the world!
Trust in His foreknowledge of all that is happening within your life right now – restoring, renewing, and resurrecting the good plans He has in store for you in this world and the next.
God’s blessings to you this Easter my friend!
