My friends, let’s be reminded this Mother’s Day that we serve a “Most High” God 😊

He sits above any human or spiritual power in this world.  The Scriptures remind us that His kingdom is an everlasting one (Daniel 4:3), that it rules over all things (Psalm 103:19), and that mankind cannot override or thwart His purposes for us in this life (Psalm 118:6 and Psalm 56:4).

He is above all wars, political leaders, and their eventual outcomes (Psalm 22:28, Daniel 2:21, and Proverbs 21:1).

He sits above the towering mountains, the highest clouds, and the farthest stars – calling each of them by name (Isaiah 40:26).  His creation speaks in a quiet language that is understood by all mankind – declaring His almighty power to the nations (Psalm 19: 1-4).  He is above any storm or natural disaster and controls the winds, the rain, and the sunshine (Psalm 147:8 and Psalm 107:29).

His wisdom is unfathomable and His understanding of all things indescribable (1 Corinthians 1:25, Romans 11:33, and Isaiah 55: 8-9).  He has known about your life before a day of it ever began (Psalm 139: 13-16) and He understands each event and circumstance that has unfolded within it (Psalm 37: 23-24 and Proverbs 16:9).  He is above all of it, my friend 😊

What I find amazing, what moves my heart the most, is this “Most High” God humbled Himself, became a man like us, and “lived to die – rejected and alone” so that we could live eternally with Him.

This God who is above all, thought about us and placed us above all 😊  Meditate on His greatness today and the great love He has for you!  No matter what you face this Mother’s Day, He is in control of every situation and circumstance. With Him, you rise above all you face!
